LISA MANTOVANI

Physiotherapist specialised in Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal Rehabilitation, MSc Manual Therapy Sheffield Hallam University, OMPT DVMT, COMT, Professor of Manual Therapy IMTA®

Graduated in Physiotherapy at Università degli studi in Brescia in 2003.
From 2003 to 2009 she worked as an employee for a rehabilitation clinic in Brescia. From 2004 to 2008 she specialised in Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal Rehabilitation and Manual Therapy Maitland Concept®. In 2009 she started her training to become international instructor of Manual Therapy Maitland Concept® (IMTA®). In 2013 she completed her IFOMPT training obtaining the OMPT certification in Germany with the German manual therapy organisation “Deutschen Verband fur Manuelle Therapie (DVMT)”.
In 2014 she obtained the Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy at Curtin University in Perth (WA). In 2015 she became international instructor of IMTA Maitland Concept®.
In 2020 she completed her Master’s Degree by obtaining the Master of Science in Manual Therapy (MSc) at Sheffield Hallam University in England.
She works as a lecturer for the Università degli studi in Brescia, for the Milano Bicocca university and the SUPSI university in Lugano.
She currently works at her practice "Studioerre Poliambulatorio" in Brescia, where she treats patients suffering from various neuro-musculo-skeletal disorders and sports-related patients; she also deals with post-graduation Maitland Concept training® for physiotherapists and physicians.
