Graduated in Medicine and Surgery, he took a Diploma of Specialization in Sport Medicine at the Università degli Studi in Brescia in 2005. He has been a researcher at the Università degli Studi in Brescia (Unit of Neurosciences of the Clinical and Experimental Department) and teacher of Physiology in the Graduation Course of Medicine and Surgery, Physiotherapy, Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Motor Activity, Exercise, Rehabilitation and Nutrition in an Ageing Society since 2005. He has been the contact person for the Laboratory of Integrative Clinical Physiology at the Università degli Studi in Brescia since 2015. He has been a member of the Education Committee of Cochrane Rehabilitation since 2017. He is the author of several scientific papers in the following fields: muscle physiology, motor control, neuromuscular electric stimulation, functional motor recovery and adapted physical activity. At Studioerre he applies the techniques of electrotherapy for muscle reconditioning following immobilization/disuse and for the recovery of the motor functions following acquired or genetic neurological damage such as stroke, facial paresis, neuromuscular diseases. Moreover, he carries out medical examinations for physical fitness in sport.
